Naiza Peak / Nisar peak, located in the Hushe Valley of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, is an exciting and lesser-known destination for rock climbing. Standing at an elevation of approximately 5,350 meters (17,552 feet), Naiza Peak offers mountaineers and climbers an excellent opportunity to challenge their skills on a beautiful, rugged peak in the Karakoram Range.

Tour Itinarary

• Arrive in Skardu via jeep or flight from Islamabad. • Rest and acclimatization in Skardu. • Overnight stay in a guesthouse.

• Travel by jeep from Skardu to Hushe Valley (approx. 5-6 hours). • Begin the trek towards Naiza Peak, passing through scenic villages, rivers, and alpine meadows. • Overnight camping en route.

• Continue trekking deeper into Hushe Valley. • Cross glaciers and rivers before reaching the Naiza Peak Base Camp. • Camp at Base Camp (around 4,200-4,400 meters) and begin acclimatization.

• Spend 2-3 days at base camp for acclimatization, taking short hikes to higher points in the area to prepare for the climb. • Explore nearby ridges and peaks for better views and to further adjust to the altitude.

• Begin the technical rock climbing ascent of Naiza Peak. • The climb will be challenging, with sections of rock climbing, ice, and snow depending on conditions. • Set up Camp 1 and Camp 2 at higher altitudes on the route. • Continue climbing in sections, passing rocky ridges and exposed areas, making use of technical skills like ice axes and crampons.

• Complete the final push to the summit of Naiza Peak. • After reaching the summit, spend some time at the top enjoying the panoramic views of the Karakoram Range, including Masherbrum, Broad Peak, and the surrounding glaciers. • Begin descending back to Base Camp.

• Begin the descent back to Hushe Valley. • Cross glaciers and rocky terrain on your way down. • Return to Hushe Valley and take a jeep back to Skardu.

• Depart from Skardu to Islamabad or onward destinations.
