Haramosh peak 7397m

About Peaks

Haramosh Peak is a notable mountain in the Karakoram Range of Pakistan. It is situated in the Haramosh Valley, which is a remote and less-explored area of the Karakoram. The Haramosh Peak has an elevation of 7397 meters above sea level, making it one of the high peaks in the region. The mountain is known for its challenging climbing routes and has attracted mountaineers seeking adventure and exploration. The first ascent of Haramosh Peak was made by a Japanese expedition in 1958. Since then, various climbing teams from different countries have attempted to conquer the peak. The Haramosh Range, in which the Haramosh Peak is located, is characterized by rugged and steep terrain, with glaciers and icefalls adding to the difficulty of climbing. The area is less frequented by climbers compared to some other peaks in the Karakoram, contributing to its reputation as a challenging and less-explored destination for mountaineers.
