Khosar Gang Peak, standing at an impressive 6401m, is the perfect choice for beginner climbers in the Karakoram range. Located on the left bank of the Braldo river in Sildi/Kashmal Village of Shigar, Khosar Gang offers a technically less challenging ascent, making it an excellent starting point for those new to climbing. The route to the summit is icy with some rocky sections, providing an ideal combination for intermediate climbers as well as beginners. Even professional climbers use Khosar Gang as an acclimatization peak due to its relatively straightforward nature. It serves as a brilliant introduction to high-altitude mountaineering.

Tour Itinarary

• Arrive in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan. • Rest day for acclimatization and briefings. • Team introductions and check gear.

• Fly from Islamabad to Skardu (or drive, depending on weather conditions). • Skardu is the gateway to the high mountains of the Karakoram and is a beautiful town. • Explore Skardu and adjust to the high-altitude environment.

Trek down to Kashmal village and drive back to Skardu

We fly back to Islamabad. Afternoon is free for exploring. Note: If our flight is cancelled due to bad weather, we will start the drive to Islamabad travelling for 9 hours along with Indus River to reach Chilas.

Enjoy a free day in Islamabad for exploring, sightseeing and shopping. Note: If our flight on day 28 cancelled we will spend 11-12 hours driving from Chilas to Islamabad via Babusar Pass 4173 m.

Transfer to Islamabad airport for return flight.
