Kapura peak 6400m charakusa valley

Overviews

Kapura Peak is a relatively lesser-known but challenging peak in the Karakoram Range of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. It is located near the famous Hushe Valley, a popular trekking and mountaineering destination in the region. Kapura Peak is often regarded as an exciting and technical climb for mountaineers looking for an adventurous expedition in a remote part of the Karakoram Range. The peak is situated at an altitude of approximately 6,300 meters (20,669 feet) and is considered a difficult ascent due to its steep rock faces, mixed terrain, and unpredictable weather. While Kapura Peak may not be as well-known as other nearby peaks like K2 or Masherbrum, it offers an appealing challenge for mountaineers who are seeking technical climbing, a remote atmosphere, and breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
