Haseen Peak, located in Charakusa Valley, Hushe, is an ambitious and thrilling expedition. Charakusa Valley is renowned for its stunning landscapes, glaciers, and rugged peaks. Haseen Peak, with an elevation of around 6,300 meters, is a popular summit for trekkers and climbers seeking a challenging but rewarding adventure. This 20-day itinerary includes acclimatization, trekking, camping, and exploration of the valley, while also ensuring the safety and endurance needed for high-altitude climbs. The trek is a mix of trekking, glacier navigation, and base camp setup, followed by the summit attempt.

Tour Itinarary

• Arrive in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan. • Rest day for acclimatization and briefings. • Team introductions and check gear.

Fly to Skardu, subject to weather, Drive to Chilas 12- 13hrs 1200-M Hotel

Drive from Skardu to Hushe, a small village at the entrance to the Charakusa Valley (approx. 4-5 hours). Check into a guesthouse or camp for the night. Overnight stay at Hushe village, preparing for the trek ahead.

Begin the trek from Hushe to the Charakusa Valley. Walk through the scenic Hushe River valley, surrounded by dramatic landscapes. The day's trek can be about 6-7 hours, camping near the valley. Camp overnight in the Charakusa Valley.

Continue along the valley towards Charakusa Glacier. The trek will involve some glacier navigation, so be prepared for challenging terrain. Camp at Charakusa Glacier Base Camp.

Rest day at Charakusa Glacier Base Camp to acclimatize. Short exploratory hike to a nearby viewpoint or glacier sections to adjust to the altitude. Maintain hydration and rest well.

Begin the trek towards the Haseen Peak Base Camp, located at a higher altitude. As the terrain becomes steeper, be mindful of altitude effects. Establish the High Camp with appropriate facilities for the ascent. Camp overnight near the base of Haseen Peak.

Another rest and acclimatization day at the base of Haseen Peak. Explore the surroundings and get used to the higher altitude. Rest in preparation for the upcoming summit attempt.

Begin final preparations for the summit attempt. Set up the summit gear, double-check equipment, and review the route. Rest and ensure the entire team is mentally and physically ready for the next day's climb.

Start early in the morning, well-prepared for the summit attempt. The route will likely involve some scrambling and ice climbing sections. Summit the peak of Haseen Peak (around 5,200 meters). Enjoy panoramic views of surrounding peaks like Masherbrum, Rakaposhi, and others. Return to Base Camp for a well-deserved rest after the summit push.

Rest and recover after the summit. Enjoy some leisure time around the base camp, reflecting on the summit success. Take photographs and explore the area if energy allows.

Begin the descent back to Charakusa Glacier Base Camp. Traverse the glacier carefully, ensuring proper technique and gear. Overnight stay at the glacier camp.

Retrace your steps from Charakusa Glacier back towards Hushe. Camping or staying in guesthouses depending on the weather and timing.

From Hushe, drive back to Skardu. Rest in Skardu, taking the opportunity to relax after the trek.

Enjoy a rest day in Skardu and explore the local surroundings. Visit Shangrila Resort, Deosai National Park, and Sheosar Lake. Rest and enjoy the local culture.

Take a flight or drive back to Islamabad. Rest day in Islamabad, debrief, and organize return travel.

Contingency day in case of delays or bad weather. Rest and finalize travel arrangements.

Leisure day in Islamabad. Optional visits to the Pakistan Monument, Rawal Lake, and other attractions.

Depending on your flight schedule, you can take a flight out of Islamabad to your home country or onward destination.

Final departure from Islamabad.
