Baushul Peak is a stunning, lesser-known mountain located in Hushe Valley, which is situated in the Skardu District of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. The peak, standing at an impressive 6200 meters, is part of the Karakoram Range, one of the most renowned mountain ranges in the world. Baushul Peak offers a challenging but rewarding experience for mountaineers, with a unique blend of technical climbs and breathtaking landscapes.

Tour Itinarary

• Arrive in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan. • Rest day for acclimatization and briefings. • Team introductions and check gear.

• Fly from Islamabad to Skardu (or drive, depending on weather conditions). • Skardu is the gateway to the high mountains of the Karakoram and is a beautiful town. • Explore Skardu and adjust to the high-altitude environment.

Sightseeing and preparation day in skardu

• Travel by jeep from Skardu to Hushe Valley (approx. 5-6 hours). • Begin trekking towards the Baushul Peak base camp, passing through lush green meadows and villages. • Camp for the night.

• Continue trekking from the valley into higher altitudes. • Cross streams, glaciers, and rugged terrain to reach the Baushul Base Camp. • Set up camp and acclimatize.

• Spend a few days at base camp to adjust to the altitude and make final preparations for the climb. • Possible day hikes to higher camps or nearby ridges for acclimatization.

• Begin the ascent of Baushul Peak, crossing glaciers, icefalls, and rocky terrain. • Reach higher camps, usually set up at camp 1 and camp 2 on the route to the summit. • The climb will involve technical sections, and progress depends on weather conditions and climbing skills.

• Push for the summit on the chosen route, taking careful steps due to the technical nature of the climb. • Once reaching the summit, spend some time appreciating the panoramic views of surrounding mountains, including K2 and Broad Peak. • Return to base camp and begin descending.

• After summiting, descend back to the valley, passing through glaciers and rocky terrain. • Overnight camping and trek back to Hushe Valley.

• From Hushe, take a jeep back to Skardu. • Rest and overnight in Skardu.

• Depart from Skardu to Islamabad or onward destinations.
