Aposar Peak is a lesser-known but stunning mountain in the Hushe Valley, located in the Karakoram Range of Pakistan. The peak is surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, including lush green meadows, rugged mountain terrains, and crystal-clear streams. The Hushe Valley itself is known for its rich culture, welcoming Balti people, and unparalleled views of iconic peaks such as Masherbrum, Laila Peak, and K6. The approach to Aposar Peak provides an excellent opportunity for trekkers to experience remote Himalayan beauty and tranquility. It is also an ideal spot for climbers aiming to hone their skills on smaller peaks before attempting higher elevations.

Tour Itinarary

• Arrive in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan. • Rest day for acclimatization and briefings. • Team introductions and check gear.

• Fly from Islamabad to Skardu (or drive, depending on weather conditions). • Skardu is the gateway to the high mountains of the Karakoram and is a beautiful town. • Explore Skardu and adjust to the high-altitude environment.

Sightseeing and preparation day in skardu

• Travel: Drive to Hushe Village (5-6 hours, 140 km) through scenic valleys and along the Shyok River. • Activities: Meet the local guide and porters, explore the village, and prepare for the trek. • Overnight Stay: Guesthouse or campsite in Hushe.

• Travel: Begin trekking from Hushe to Aposar Base Camp (5-6 hours). The trail passes through lush meadows, streams, and moraines. • Activities: Set up camp, enjoy views of nearby peaks, and acclimatize. • Overnight Stay: Tent at Base Camp.

• Activities: o Early morning start for the summit push. o Moderate climb with stunning views at the top. o Descend to Base Camp by evening. • Overnight Stay: Tent at Base Camp.

• Travel: Trek back to Hushe (4-5 hours). • Activities: Relax and celebrate with the local community. • Overnight Stay: Guesthouse or campsite in Hushe.

• Travel: Drive back to Skardu. • Activities: Rest and explore any missed sights in Skardu. • Overnight Stay: Hotel in Skardu.

• Travel: Fly or drive back to Islamabad. • Activities: End of the trip.
